Inspiration can come at you sideways sometimes, just like the inspiration for this company came from an art party in Bushwick that had no other intention than for people to share their creativity with one another. AND everybody’s got their own blog today so we thought, “Hey, why not us? We’re not afraid of a bandwagon!” So this is the part of our site where we let you in on the dorky, silly, sometimes creative sometimes wholly whacky inner workings of our company. Some of what you will see are clips, drawings, thoughts and recordings that we made to share with one another personally, and some will be bits and pieces of what company members are working on artistically inside ABSCo and out. Some things may have seemed funny or inspiring to us at the time and we will discover, in their sharing, that the moment has passed. Either way, we hope you’ll let us know!

ABroad Stage Company is a company of multi-lingual, multi-cultural directors, actors, writers and movement artists. We have convened this grassroots effort to make exceptional theatre that broadens the experiential bandwidth by giving voice to each company member’s passion for their craft. Our vision is to forge relationships with artists and audiences of all kinds, finding new ways of addressing global challenges and contemporary life through the magical lens of theatre and film.
